STYLES OF WEDDING BOUQUETS
ARM BOUQUET: A bouquet which is designed to be held in the crook of the arm, Consists of long stemmed flowers. A loosely tied ribbon or bow is suggested to be used to keep the bouquet together and to hide any design mechanics.
CASCADE: Also called a waterfall bouquet…this bouquet style is in the shape of a teardrop or loose triangle. It is slightly rounded at the top and falls to a point.
COMPOSITE: Assembled by using multiple petals from the base flower to create one giant sized blossom. It makes a very impressive statement as a bouquet.
CRESCENT: This bouquet is similar in shape to a half-moon. The bouquet would be designed to have the cascade portion of the bouquet curve.
FREEFORM: This bouquet has no definitive shape. As the name implies, this style covers a looser bouquet that often has flowers coming out at various angles.
HAND TIED BOUQUET: A bouquet which is designed using the flower stems to create a natural handle that would be held as a clutch in your hands. Stems may be exposed or partially tied with a ribbon or bow, or completely covered.
NOSEGAY: A smaller version of a round bouquet and may include more trim, ribbons and streamers. Generally would be used for a flower girl or as a smaller bridesmaid bouquet.
ROUND: As the name suggests, this bouquet is circular in shape. The condensed bouquet holds a large number of flowers in a compact space.
